We all know that homebrewers are a rather eclectic bunch. Just try going to a QUAFF meeting, camp-out, Oktoberfest, or any other get together. Along with great beer, cider or mead, there will be someone you haven’t met yet, some technique you want to try and a lively discussion to follow.  You might even notice a growing group of women who are leading the conversation, talking about new pubs, recipes or their award winning brews. These gals are not only sharing their budding knowledge during monthly SDSS meetings, but also in the larger craft brew community. Hosting regular brew days, we learn from each other all sorts of things we might not try otherwise.

For example: “How do we brew an IPA using mango and Tamarind?“ Or “does this blueberry saison taste good with chocolate?” “What‘s the news about developing specific yeast strains?“ And “When should we keg our new lager?" Yes, we are curious, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute or raise a glass for a good cause. Come join us or just say hello. “Cheers” to meeting you!
